Ofsted Visit

Following our OFSTED inspection on 18th and 19th. We are delighted to report that Wistow Academy has been graded ‘good’ overall and ‘outstanding’ for two key areas – behaviour and attitudes.

This was our first inspection under the new OFSTED framework, introduced in 2020 and revised last year.

We are very pleased that the inspectors highlighted the welcoming, nurturing and inclusive nature of Wistow Academy. There was also recognition of how we ensure every child quickly becomes a reader and develops a love of reading.
